The Yoga for Older Adults and Injury Recovery/Prevention Program is the first of a series of specialized Therapeutic Yoga Classes by the yoga+ Integrated Wellness Team. This course is designed for older adults and differently-bodied or abled individuals who may find a regular group class intimidating or challenging. If you are on older adult, or are recovering from an injury or health condition, working to get out of a sedentary lifestyle, and struggling to catch up with a regular group yoga class, this program is for you. Receive individualized attention in a small group setting in order to understand how yoga works, modify poses and adapt the practice in a way that suits your needs and abilities.
Open to all levels and ages. Post-partum mommies welcome. No previous yoga experience needed. If you are recovering from an injury or medical condition, please get clearance from your doctor.

Ivy weaves her knowledge in stress management, mental illness, harm reduction, addiction recovery and behavior change with yoga. She continuously deepens her studies in movement, breathing techniques and mindfulness to make her classes more holistic.
Ria’s passion as a yoga teacher and therapist is to support others in finding their personal path to wellness. Her nurturing yet playful classes encourage students to embrace their unique body structure, shape and condition.
